LEE Kok Loong Returns
by atai @ 18:02 | Comments (2) | Filed under: updates
Just as the Superman Returns to the big screen, our Man of Steel is also back in Malaysia. Yup, Kok Loong is back for a short vacation (till about end August 2006).
While back home, he can be contacted via his house phone (03-78742689). You can also leave a message for him in the comments section.
Also, I will try to arrange a small mamak session this Friday. Once I firm up on the plan, I’ll just post it in the comments as well.
Winnie CHAN Hooi Nie

Winnie CHAN is currently working as a Regional Sales Manager for a sports event company. Every now and then, she actually gets to hang out with The Rock, The Undertaker, etc… Yes, The Rock actually taught her a few self defence moves like the Rock Bottom, piledriver, etc…
She is still in Malaysia but travels overseas, especially to Singapore and the Phillipines almos every month. She would definitely like to meet up with any Seaportian who is currently working in either one of the countries.
For those who can’t remember, Winnie was from 4 & 5 Marikh. And those who were there in Samad would remember her going head-on with JP and the infamous “attitude problem” group.
OK, here’s a photo to really refresh your memory…

You can either contact Winnie via email (winnie@totalsportsasia.com) or you can also drop her a message in the comments section.

Or better known back in school as Wei Loong (affectionately called Thambi Loong in this site).
By popular demand, I managed to track down a photo of him along with the profile he has put up in his private site.

Here is what he has to say about himself:
I am an extrovert person who loves travelling, enjoy the beauty of nature, sporting, clubbing during weekend and like the taste of fine wine. My favourites are astrology, history, football and social science.
Basically,I’m an easy going, fun-loving, caring and understanding person. AND,I have a pair of small brown eye, kinda tanned & atheletic, have an oval face and SEXY legs.
SEXY legs?!? Anyone want to help verify that? :)
Congratulations: Derrell

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. The photo above says it all!
Congratulations once again, Derrell!!!
Is that Derrell’s daughter?!? (ok, I’m being very cheeky here…)
A wedding album
by atai @ 23:17 | Comments (3) | Filed under: updates, weddings
A fellow Seaportian and vegetarian got married recently (actually, not that recently since it’s June now and the wedding was in February).

(right photo) That back does NOT belong to Thambi Loong! It’s the groom - Dean!
It was a truly muhibbah event…
Not sure how Dean looks like back in school? Maybe this picture will bring back memories (or nightmare…) *kidding, Dean*

Dean (Zaifuddin) is the one in the middle

ALUMNI: June Gathering @ Souled Out
by atai @ 23:17 | Comments (9) | Filed under: gatherings
Guys and girls…
For June, the monthly Alumni meet will be held at Souled Out. Party will start at 1900hrs. It will be held this coming Tuesday evening - 6th June 2006.
If you are wondering why it is held on Tuesday night, do drop by and ask the committee members. All your questions will then be answered. ;)
Do try to make it there and give the Alumni your support. The Alumni is only as good as its members make it to be. We have to all give our support. So, see you there and hope you sign up as a member!
Also, I have been told by the president that the next activity after this Souled Out gathering will most likely be a friendly bowling game. More details will be announced there and then.
Mega Teh Tarik (Informal) Session
by atai @ 17:48 | Comments (2) | Filed under: gatherings
Here’s something from Dean…
***************************
Hello there!
I’m Dean M. Z. Arif, a committee member from SP Alumni, the students’ alumni for Sri Permata Secondary School or formerly known as Seaport Secondary.
We have recently reactivated the association and we would like to invite you for a “teh tarik” session on 9th May 2006, 8.30 p.m. onwards at Syed SS6 (the corner mamak restaurant on the same row as the old Giant Supermarket).
The objective of this session is to introduce the working committee members and our objectives, besides an opportunity to catch up with some old friends.
We would also be giving the ex-students an opportunity to renew orsign-up as members of our Alumni.
If you know of anyone in your year that you would like us to get in touch with, just email the name and contact details to me at deanarif@gmail.com. Alternatively, you can just forward this email to your friends.
I hope to see you there! Please reply to me soon to confirm your availability.
Thanks and warm regards,
Dean

A few friends recently met up for drinks and to catch up with the latest gossips…

It was made special with the fact that Dr. Nicholas CHOONG was back in town. We were able to spend a few hours talking about anything and everything… Full of enthusiasm too, as evident from the next photo!

(by the way, the photos were taken with my new digital camera - Kodak V570)
Dean also took the opportunity to recruit more members for the alumni.
I guess we all had some fun. Till the next one… Whenever and wherever it will be…
