Yup, he is now a married man…

The husband and the wife, April
Kean Lai is currently working with a mobile phone manufacturer (I believe the company is also doing other things besides mobile phones) in Singapore. Yes, you can actually see some of his work (designs) in the market now. April is a teacher in Singapore.

All original with no added MSG
He comes back every now and then, especially during long holiday breaks. So if you wanna get hold of him during his trip back, or if you want to contact him while in Singapore, just drop your contact details in the comments section for him.
Note: I would advice you leave a temporary contact details for him as it is NOT too safe to leave information like phone number, etc on the net.
Here’s another photo of our man…

Step aside Bond. This is Lai… Kean Lai

For those who don’t remember who he is, this might help jog the memory. He was in 4 and 5 Mars, loves football and a great passion for food (who doesn’t eh?). Used to hang out with Viji, Juva, Saravanan and the rest of the gang.

I Want Blood!
by atai @ 21:24 | Comments (0) | Filed under: misc
(copied from Dean’s blog)
You heard me… If you’re healthy, not infected with Hepatitis X, Y or Z, not carrying any STDs, have not been eating any crazy cows lately, then I want you!
But most important of all, you must have a big heart – if you literally have one, that’s even better!
If you have the time this weekend, please spare a moment for SP Alumni’s BLOOD DONATION DRIVE to replenish the Blood Bank’s dwindling supply due to the fasting (Ramadhan) month.
Details:
Date: 8 October 2006 (Sunday)
Time: 09:30 – 15:30
Venue: Sekolah Menengah Sri Permata (SM Seaport High School)
SS3 Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya
The campaign will be officiated by some Dato’ and some ex- MBPJ Councillor, I think, but who gives a dem about these politicians, eh?
Kind souls who are willing to lend their arms to be poked by KLGH’s beautiful nurses will be given a cup of hot Milo, some biscuits and slices of fruit cakes, iron pills if you feel nauseated, and the best of all, a certificate as a proof of your bravery!
I’d love to join but unfortunately I’m fasting… I shall contribute right after Raya when there’ll be plenty more people in the ER as a result of driving on Semi Value’s highway during the mass holiday exodus. So come over this weekend and bring your juicy ass able bodies!
LOW Siew Fung @ JAWS
by atai @ 17:56 | Comments (4) | Filed under: updates
In case you are wondering if this site has been hacked, fear not. It has not been hacked… Yet.
Essential Goodness Reflexology Centre actually belongs to our very own Jaws (LOW Siew Fung)! I bet many did not see this coming and thought she’d end up as an army drill sergeant or something like that. While she is definitely qualified and skilled to massage and heal you, she prefers to leave it to the more experienced masters there. However, she will be more than happy to accomodate any requests for her skills and hands.
So where is this place? It is located in Kota Kemuning. After the 1st Kota Kemuning roundabout (also known as the McD roundabout) from Kesas Highway, take the 3 o’clock turn - that means turn to the right.
Drive along that road. You will be able to see rows of shop-houses on your right. There is a small lake on your left as you drive along the main road. Essential Goodness Reflexology Centre is located behind NTS Restaurant. Across the center, you can see the Onking Electical shop. You definetely can’t miss these two corner shops (referring to NTS and Onking).
As a Friend of Seaport, you get DISCOUNTS!!! Yes, just tell her you are “A friend of Seaport” and you will get the discounted rate instead.
*****
A bit off-topic for now. I would like to take this opportunity to again explain the reason for Friends of Seaport. This site started when a group of friends met up after many years and began to wonder what happened to the rest of the gang - people we hung out with, be it from Seaport or our neighbours like Seapark, Samad, Bukit Bintang, Kelana Jaya, Sri Aman and many more.
As we started to ‘dig’ further, we realised many actually lost touch with each other but would like to keep in touch again. Taking this one step further, we also realised there are a few of us who have started our own business… People like Siew Fung and Chin Ling, to name a few. So this site serves to help connect old friends together and for some, a start of a new network of friends.
This site is a FREE service dedicated to all Friends of Seaport. If you would like to update others about what is going on in your life, or if you have a business, just drop Adrian Tai a line at seaport@adriantai.com and we will work something out from there.
Coming soon… Updates on Mr & Mrs YAP Chih Hsiung!
Happy Birthday, Shin Yee!

#Happy birthday to you…
Happy birthday to you…
Happy birthday to Shin Yee…!!!
Happy birthday to you…#
Welcome to the 30s, my friend… heh heh…
Shin Yee is someone whom I have known for a long, long time through a mutual friend - CHEN Yen Yen (last I heard, she’s in Singapore). Shin Yee is one really gila girl (hence the link called Psycho Girl in one of my sites) but she’s also one really great friend. If she’s not laughing away, she’s not Shin Yee. That’s how I will describe her.
How time flies for all of us. It seemed like only yesterday when we were in Standard 4. I believe that was the first time we were in the same class. If I’m not mistaken, you were sitting somewhere behind me. I was sitting next to Yin Fay (ok, where is this girl anyway?!). Then there’s Standard 6 - TBS. IGC. FFF. Anyone still keeping those books?!
What’s the point of bringing up all this? Well, it’s just a way to say that we can now say this, “Those were the days…”.
We’re now in the 30s! Happy birthday once again!!!
By the way, this is NOT a subtle hint…

Meeting up with old friends is always fun. There’s always a lot to catch up with and yet, so little time. I guess many of us who showed up on Friday night felt that way.

Oh ya Winnie… Thank you for the dried mangoes. I guess everyone enjoyed them…

Please be assured that it is not our intention to profit from this Carnival, but only to help raise funds for the welfare of the less fortunate folks.
So come and join us for great local delicacies including the famous Sister’s Popiah & Bakin’ Boys Cookies & Muffins, fun games such as Wheel of Fortune, Mini Golf, Dunk-In Games, PS2 FIFA World Cup Challenge, Rock Climbing Paintball Target Shooting, Water Blast and many more!

LEE Kok Loong Returns
by atai @ 18:02 | Comments (2) | Filed under: updates
Just as the Superman Returns to the big screen, our Man of Steel is also back in Malaysia. Yup, Kok Loong is back for a short vacation (till about end August 2006).
While back home, he can be contacted via his house phone (03-78742689). You can also leave a message for him in the comments section.
Also, I will try to arrange a small mamak session this Friday. Once I firm up on the plan, I’ll just post it in the comments as well.
