Peck Yen just gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday. Congratulations to Peck Yen and Chih Hsiung. I will try to get updates and maybe some photos from them…
Kenny Rajendran is married. Actually, he got married a few months back. I’m still waiting for some photos and details about the wedding so I can post it up here…

I just realised I didn’t mention that Dean became a father a few months back… Oooops… Sorry, Dean. You can check out his own space in the cyberworld - http://deanarif.blogspot.com.
Last but not least, Adrian TAI has just recently changed job. He’s no longer with the pharmaceutical company. His new office is in Kelana Jaya.
Emily FOO (1994)

Some would remember her as FOO Ai Lin’s lil sister… :)
But Emily FOO deserves more than that… She started her own Professional Executive Search firm named Evenstar. Evenstar specialises in the professional services or the IT industry. So, if you’re ever thinking of moving to a new job, do submit your resume to her through Evenstar’s website - http://www.evenstar.com.my.

Emily FOO
Besides that, Emily just got married about 2 weeks ago! So congratulations to Emily and her hubby - Terence. Do drop by their wedding website. And don’t forget to sign their guestbook!
Evon HO (1997)
by atai @ 11:15 | Comments (0) | Filed under: updates
I first met Evon a few years ago. She was, as she puts it, my old office neighbour but it was only recently that I found out that she is a Seaportian. Well, I didn’t really find out until she told me. And even then, she only mentioned it after talking to another mutual friend (also her colleague… and my former colleague). Confused?!
I’m beginning to think the world is NOT that big after all…

Evon HO
Anyway, Evon is now a pharmaceutical sales representative. In other words, she’s a drug-pusher (ethical drugs). :)
She says she was from 5 Bayan. According to Evon, she is a very quiet and low profile girl back in Seaport. Hmmmm…
Oh ya… She’s still single.
Well, do drop her a note or two in the comments section and I’ll try to get her to reply here as well.
Merina YONG Mei Yau (1993)
by atai @ 22:17 | Comments (0) | Filed under: updates

Merina YONG
After Seaport, Merina did her Business degree locally. She was partying like crazy all this while, apart from working hard. But over time, she has kinda slowed down a lot. As she puts it, “When you reach the big three, clubbing would be an occasionally thing.”
Merina is currently working in Sri Hartamas as a Sales and Marketing Manager for a company dealing with electrical and consumer products. Her job requires her to travel around every now and then - locally and overseas.
Before that, Merina was in IT for a few years, was working in FTEC as their Product Manager for notebooks and PCs.
Merina has a handful of x-Seaportians whom she kept in touch with for all these years. They are mostly from the Arts stream. These are people like her ‘chimui’ such as GOH Siew Fong, Judy Lyn, CHAN Mei Ling, NG Yen Ney and Sharon WONG.
Occasionally, she also meets up with other Seaportians like HO Wei Kiat, LIM Bee Wan, NG Pei Sze, PHUAH Wei Wei, TSING Tsui Hoong, WONG Wai Mun, LEE Mun Fei, TAN Chin Ee and the rest. Merina was also hanging out with Stanley TAN, Adrian LOKE, LIM Sin Onn, “Fei Na” (Steven) and Harris for quite awhile last year.
She added that mMost of them are already married with one or two kids, except for a few who still wants to remain single… :)
Updates from Winnie CHAN

From Winnie herself..
“I have been very busy lately lots of things happened, lots of changes… which explains my being MIA from your forum.
From my last update to you, I think you know that I left TSA and joined Vision Four Media Group? My stint there lasted 9 months… Left that company in May to pursue another offer… I’m now a headhunter for a company headquartered in London and based here. We specialize in Sports, Media, Entertainment, Leisure and Hospitality. So yeah life’s been good and hectic! Then as if there isn’t enough uncertainty… My boyfriend Ian landed a job back in Liverpool where he came from ! Would be headed back there in a month’s time and I’ll be joining him in as soon as 2 months’ time or by the end of the year depending on how things pan out with my company :)
Would definitely like to meet up with you guys before I ciao… Date and time to be confirmed !!!”
There you have it. We’re going to arrange for a meet-up soon. Also, Winnie has just started her own blog! I’m waiting for her to give me the green light to publish her blog’s URL. I can understand since I have been getting reports of a stalkers going around harassing some of you…
Lannie LOKE Suet Leng
by atai @ 23:17 | Comments (0) | Filed under: updates
From Lannie herself:
I don’t think most of you can remember me much. I wasn’t in SM Seaport but I did my primary school in SRK Kelana Jaya and after that I was in SM Subang Jaya and SM Subang Utama.
I came to know this forum recently. Anyway, Adrian asked me to join in.
How should I introduce myself? I used to wear pair of thick specs and on the plump side when I was in SRK Kelana Jaya. I only have contacts with Cynthia Lim after I left primary school.
I’m married to a dutch and currently residing in The Netherlands. I have two sons, Mika and Kimi, 5 and 3 years old. Currently, I’m a SAHM (stay at home mum).
That’s all I can say about myself.

Quick update
by atai @ 18:31 | Comments (0) | Filed under: updates
Nope… This site is NOT dead! :)
We just have very little materials to publish. As you know, Seaportians are a very shy lot… So, guys and girls, please do:
1. drop me an email (myseaport[at]gmail[dot]com) with some gossips or even just a general update like you’ve moved to a new state, just got married, etc…
2. join the forum and post the updates yourself! :)
Now… Some updates. A few of us met up recently at Ming Tien, Taman Megah. FOO Ai Lin was able to join us that night. Yes, she’s back in town. Those who dropped by were ONG Chong Heng, Siew Wai, Jia Ying, Mun Loong, Kim Leong, Jane, baby David, Azri, Zaifuddin, Kim Chuan, Eu Jin, Derrel, Su Fei, Xiao Fen and myself… Errr… Did I miss out anyone?
I found out…
1. Lim Soon Huat is getting married
2. Lai Chee Chong is getting married
3. Ching Lit is now a mummy…
So congrats to all… :)
And 2 photos taken on my miserable Sony Ericsson K618i:

I’ve been there once and they have quite an extensive menu for both food and drinks.
So see you there tonight! By the way, we have a certain doctor from the US of A back in Malaysia for a short holiday and he will be joining us as well. Yup, Nicholas is back in town!

Vijiandran and his wife went to Sabah for their honeymoon on the 5th till the 9th of December 2006. They went to 2 places - Kundasang, a town at the foot of Mount Kinabalu. According the Viji, the place was simply marvelous! They also went to Kota Kinabalu itself where they stayed in the Promenade Hotel. “My room faces the beautiful South China Sea… Both places were a wondeful getaway for us after a hectic 11 months or so preparing for the wedding.”
