The present year will come to and end soon... What have you done in 2005? And what are your plans for 2006?
A few of us plan to meet up on the 2nd Jan 2006 (Monday). It will be at Star KTV (again?!)... In case you're wondering, no... It is not that I really 'hadap' to sing. I just figured that it would be a good way to meet up. We get one room to ourselves... We can go crazy and no one can stop us (well, at least so far no one has tried). Plus, screaming is a good way to release stress.
So, the plan is to meet up at Star KTV at Bangsar Shopping Complex from 1400hrs (that's 2pm). We should be there till about at least 1800hrs... Hopefully to be followed by dinner together.
Damage for karaoke is expected to be about rm45 per person. You will get 2 complimentary drinks.
However, you are adviced to make up your mind and inform Adrian TAI at 012 3315731 by 1800hrs, 31st Jan 2005 because he needs to book a room. The size of the room we will get depends on the number of turnouts. So please give him a call...
Spouse, kids, girlfriend, boyfriend, neighbour's wife... All welcomed. Sorry, no pets.

Guys and girls,
I know this is not really related to the school... But just thought this is worth sharing. Since we have lots of friends scattered all over the country, I thought this would be a good thing to share... Help you guys save some money...
In case you didn't know, AirAsia recently announced they would be giving out 2 000 000 (that's 2 million) free seats. Until today, they still have about 800 000 seats more to give out.

To make your life easier (because to find the free tickets, you have to try out different combination of departure and return dates), I managed to get a few dates which still provide free tickets. As you can see, there are various destinations... You really need the high-resolution image to see the dates and destinations clearly.

click for large high-res photo
So enjoy... But you better hurry. As you can see from the first image above, offer ends on the 28th Dec 2005. Also, free here means you do not need to pay for the ticket but you will still need to pay for the airport tax.

yes, i have to agree... i guess that is probably why the Parliament is now hotly debating the M4S issue.
and to think there was a remark that said domestic routes are not profitable. AirAsia covers these routes and have placed an order of 60+40 Airbus 320. i just can't wait to finally sit in a *new* plane... i suspect the existing planes are 2nd hand - inconsistent carpet colours, etc... :)

How much does it cost?
We would love to come!! Christmas is a day of celebration, wherever one could be, not necessarily in church.
We could do our very own SAS Christmas carolling. What do you say? Also, gifts exchange and plenty of food.

That's the title given to him in an article that was featured in The Star news paper recently. You can also find the soft copy here.
Here is also an article that appeared in a UK newspaper just about a month ago. Our Kok Loong is definitely something to be proud of!

For your information, Kok Loong has got a textbook under his belt. It was published a few months ago and is a colaboration between him and a professor in the US. You can check out the book here (no, it is not a free soft copy).
Kok Loong is also the first Asian to win the Lincolnshire Iron and Steel Institute prize and has been included in 2006's Who's Who in the World! Syabas and continue to make us proud!
