This post is to help us organise a gathering for the coming Chinese New Year…
From the Friends of Seaport Forum (beta):
Hi guys and girls…
Chinese New Year is approaching. It is supposed to be 18th and 19th Feb 2007, which is a Sun and Mon. Most likely Tue will be a holiday as well.
Anyway, I’m sure many would like to take this opportunity to meet up with old friends, etc… OK, this is first year I give angpow… ![]()
So to start the ball rolling, can I propose we meet up on 24th Feb 2007. It is the following Saturday. Probably first place we meet will be somewhere in ss5 at 10am.
How?
I would also like to take this opportunity to:
1. invite everyone to register yourself in the forum
2. wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year… Gong Xi Fa Cai!
Brader,
Saturday 24th kenot lah! People will still be busy visiting relatives… Sunday 25th can or not?

there are not many who have responded in the forum, here or even to the sms i sent out. so i guess we’ll call it off.
for those who said OK, we will proceed as planned, in a smaller group. :)
