Ever wondered what ever happened to the cute girl who sat next to you back in Standard 1? Or the jerk who used to pull your hair every recess? It has been that many years since we left primary school… Or secondary school for that matter.
Every now and then… I still wonder whatever happened to people I know like LAM Yoke Yen (if I remember correctly, she moved to Taiwan back in 1986), Mark CHONG, Ezral, HO Ching Lit, LEE Mun Fei, Manimaran and many more…?
This is also what made me start this blog… With the hope it will help connect one friend to another. After all, we are SEAPORTIANS. We are one of the few lucky ones to be able to call ourselves Seaportians (since the school is now called Sri Permata).
If you are like me and do wonder whatever happened to someone, just leave the name of the person, a brief description of the person (if you can still remember) and perhaps leave a contact so that the person you are looking for may contact you.
And if you happen to be the person or knows the person we are looking for, do ask them to drop by and leave a message in the comments…
When I saw Manimaran in Sept 2005, he was working in Kelana Square, Kelana Jaya. He still stays in Rawang. I have his contact number if anyone needs (cannot disclose here).

Ah tai,
I have contact details of Dev, Ramesh and Saminathan (email only)of which I could email to you. I was thinking, is it possibe that we make up some sort of a directory of all the former students of Seaport where we could use to contact one another it can be both in hard and soft copies.
Any comments?

WK (x2)… heh heh…
Thanks. Will contact you shortly.
Viji,
Did think of that, but you must understand… Some still prefer to have their contact ‘hidden’. i found out over the past few weeks many do drop by regularly, but never ‘appeared’ anywhere (chat, comment, etc). and i don’t even realise that coz I dun even have their email address.
All-in-all, they want to remain low profile. But yes, I do hope to work towards sth like that.
But maybe that will be the official ALUMNI’s job. :)

Viji,
I saw Dev’s photo in Digi! Don’t know if he’s still there.
Atai,
I too would like to know where is Lee Mun Fei now (I sit next to him in one of the classes - can’t remember Form what), and maybe also the two musclemen - Oi Yin Wan and Khoo Soo Beng (last I know, Yin Wan was in Penang working).

I agreed with Vijiandran, we ought to setup some sort of database here. It is easier to keep in touch that way. On top of that, it generates a sense of community here.
I understand the concern of privacy due
to their celebrity status…(ok, i take that back, some folks might not think that is a joke)
so maybe we can setup a system that can facilitate their need of privacy. For example:
Assuming that i am a celebrity, therefore in the database, you will only see this:
Choonghor
Tel: Upon Request
Email:Upon Request
Prefered method of contact: Email notification
Just a suggestion…
Ciao
